“Baby Soldier” is our depiction of the unfortunate reality of diamond mining in Africa. We’ve all heard the term “Blood Diamond” but most of us have not grasped the true meaning. In a perfect world, children grow up with a certain level of innocence but unfortunately, youth in various African countries are forced to experience the hardships of modern day slavery and share cropping. Here in the West, we’ve been hypnotized by the “bling” but our hope is to provide an effective reality check.
